    Better to say no than feel forced to do it out of pride.

  2. Some people aren’t cut out for leadership. It is better than someone demanding the role when they clearly aren’t any good at it.

  3. So, what? I’m sure lots of players don’t want the pressure of being captain. This is a nothing burger.
