Arsenal are only the fourth side to win each of their first eight Premier League games of a calendar year; the previous three all went on to win the title that year (Man Utd in 2009, Liverpool in 2020, Man City in 2021).

New record for Arsenal to break
Personally I hope it’s us that win it this year for obvious reasons. Having said that I do see Arsenal as our rivals. Liverpool don’t have the depth of squad and to be honest they just don’t seem good enough with the games where they are barely scraping wins. Some people call that a sign of champions but lets be honest it’s not, unless you are doing it against other top sides. No offence to Nottingham Forest on that one. The other thing to remember here is there is only so many times you can bottle it. I’m not counting Spurs in that one because you have to be in with chance to bottle it. I might as well add a shout out to United and their quest for 7th which if their luck continues is very achievable. It’s mad when you think about it that once upon time teams were afraid of them and they actually played decent football.
It’s happening fellow gunners! let’s celebrate the victory over fellow red bottlers.
I pray for the mental health of Arsenal fans if they don’t win it this year.
