Haiti has declared a three-day state of emergency and a night-time curfew after armed gangs stormed the country’s two biggest jails, allowing more than 3,000 dangerous criminals, including murderers and kidnappers, to escape back on to the streets of the poor and violence-racked Caribbean nation. It comes as gang leaders seek to oust the prime minister, Ariel Henry, who is abroad.

  1. Imagine going to sleep in your cell at night, and then waking up and EVERYBODY HAS GONE, and you're just sat there like a lemon.

  2. If the border is open and these gangs get in and try this in the US, Biden can declare martial law. There would be no election. Democrats would take over.

  3. when u realize u been locked up for 8 years with no trial and its 65 men in a 15 bed cell…… and u look around and 3000 or more just like you trapped with no hope.. say what u say but when the door opens im gone regardless of how it opened.
