5. Football-wise it was nothing special. Great win, though.

   I think Rodrygo’s issue is not so much on the pitch, as it is between his ears, and thus it reflects on his attitude and his quality on the pitch. It could always be something in his personal life, but from what we can guess, I think it’s mostly the pressure to perform. Yes, he performed in the biggest moments, but he wasn’t expected to. Now that changes, and he is expected to perform, especially with Bellingham’s absence.

   Brahim is looming, Güler just scored, Mbappé could be signed, and he’s forever in Vini’s shadow… I wonder how he’ll end up honestly.

9. I am super worried about this community. I made an honest comment stating that I am worried about Carlos behavior, risking by playing Valverde and even Vini every single game for full 90mins, and we pretty much won laliga, and also giving insanely little time to other players by making late changes. I literally got comments “shut the fuck up” and bunch of minuses. I also stated that I dont know how players like Arda can grow if they get few minutes in matches where Jude is off, Rodrygo is extremely underperforming, and our starters needs some rest. This was ideal game for that. Celta is not super good team this season, Valverde and rest of the crew played 3 full games in a row.

11. Yea Arda needs more minutes, crazy composed for his age and seems to control the ball well. Rodrygo has been so out of form, can’t even finish one on one. Hopefully Joselu or Brahim start over him.

12. Really good from Guler. Rodrygo is not doing himself any favours, especially with Mbappe possibly arriving and Brahim/Guler emerging as options. He should be climbing higher in the pecking order but the reverse is happening.

14. Brahim or Lord Vazquez MOTM for me. Good game by everyone, created a bunch of chances. Even though Rodrygo didn’t score, he played well at least in the first half Imo.

    Modric was immense in both phases of the game, i swear if not for his legs/stamina, he is still world-class.

    Now, about Arda, you check my past comments, i have never really fanboyed or asked him to come on every match cuz I believe Carlo can manage but I genuinely don’t understand what’s going on. He is clearly a very good player, he has been fit for 3 months now and barely played anything. In CDR, he looked the best(we know those games are tough and physical), even in Supercopa, it was his run that allowed Carvajal space to cross. I think he has everything to succeed here, and a lot of fans don’t realize and jump too quickly to blame Turkish fans but Arda is only 18 and kinda got his whole country’s expectations on him, so I wont blame him for getting anxious and start getting annoyed( acc. To reports). I think he 100% deserves better than 89′ min substitution.

    And about Vini, I understand him but ngl if it was a Celta player doing that, I would have been screaming for a red. Good game by him though.

16. Modric had a stellar game. Great control of the tempo, always dangerous on the ball, and excellent corners. Maestro as always.

17. Best game of Modric this season. Today he wasn´t only brilliant in possession (he usually is that anyway) but also won the ball back a lot and worked so hard. It felt very much like prime Modric. Obviously his set pieces were also key to win that game. Easily motm for me.

18. I wasn’t expecting a 4-0 result, but it was nice to see the goals come in at the end of the match.

    To be fair, Madrid created enough to score that many goals and more so it’s a fair representation I would say.

    It’s a good victory which was sorely needed. Most importantly, Madrid played well which was good to see after previous matches. ¡Hala Madrid!

20. Also, Arda needs to play more matches. His talent is apparent for everyone to see and that goal is just a sample of what he possesses.

    If he can do what he did in 5 minutes, imagine what he can in 20-30 minutes or over a full game. He’s a young gem.

    Modric, Camavinga, Lucas and Rudiger were the best. Modric corner kicks are phenomenal, he needs to give Kroos some classes. Camavinga first half was amazing, too bad he didn’t score as he obviously wanted to, Lucas has been playing so good and Rudiger never disappoints.

    Mendy is screaming for Davies to come and take his place, Nacho is still Nacho. Valverde performance has going down these last games, i think he needs some rest. Rodrygo is still invisible, he is not a Real Madrid main attacker material, as a sub he would work fine. Brahim performance went from less to more, he generates more than Rodrygo and I think Carlo is starting to see it too.

    Vini was fine, he always keeps trying and he got his goal, but those are two games in a row were he gets yellow carded for the same thing, Ancelotti needs to talk to him about it.

26. To those numbskulls who downvoted my comment revealing the truth “Camavinga has more in his tank that we dont see enough. He can takeover a game if he really tried” two matchdays ago just before the week where he got subbed at halftime for being a non-factor, please learn ball. You dont know what you think you know, Learn ball.

27. Feel bad for Rodrygo. He does seem to be invisible noawdays in matches and otoh Vini scores and gives assists. Had he scored the one chance he got he would not get criticised that much. Not sure if he has been informed that he will get sold this summer to make way for Mbappe.

28. Rodrygo just needs to work on his accuracy for shots, he has 2 goals easy this game then. He can create opportunities galore and just needs that Mbappe shot to go with it 

29. Rodrygo has to have a mental blockage or something outside his talent. He’s too good a player to be under performing so badly lately. I can’t imagine a place for him in the starting 11 if Mbappe arrives if he continues this way. Great to see Modric and Brahim on the starting 11 today. I hope Arda’s goal help him feel more confident in his role and Ancelotti gives him more minutes in the coming games.
