Calling that a 100% foul is either extremely biased or seriously dishonest. Either way all these ‘woe is me’ stories are embarrassing and the bickering between both teams is pathetic. Both teams had plenty of chances to win it without having to rely on the ref and neither side was good enough to take them. Hopefully Arsenal win the league now.
It was a penalty but I’m more frustrated with the misses by Luis Diaz. It’s very easy to look at this incident as costing us three points but if Diaz wasn’t so poor in front of goal then this decision wouldn’t be getting the attention it is. If we don’t win the league this season, it isn’t down to match officials but our inability to kill games off especially against the biggest teams in the league.
