  1. Remember my words, he will score for us in the ucl semis and finals

  2. Rodrygo tries hard to overperform and not fall behind Vini and in that process he dribbles unnecessarily and looses possession and if not all the time he is seen to be selfish when there is clear chance for a pass yet he chooses to score himself and ends up missing. He hasn’t been most clinical recently all he has to do is get his confidence back as he is an amazing player just lacks the right mindset.

  3. I hope that, even if the info really comes from him, he’s not close to the press. Because, in that case, he may well be giving Tito Floren a reason to sell him this summer.

  4. Sensationalism. He will lose minutes when we sign more attackers but I don’t think he’s leaving anytime soon. There will need to be rotations, we’ll have injuries, plus he has the trust of the manager and puts in a big defensive effort.

Edit from a comment on the discussion post-

    > 🚨 Rodrygo’s entourage point out that he’s not playing in his natural position as the LW, and that he has had to adapt to the right flank for the benefit of the team, which has been detrimental to his goalscoring.

    > They also maintain that, regardless of what his numbers might say, he always appears on important nights.

    > Those who know Rodrygo know that his only goal is to become a Real Madrid legend.

    > And given how ‘cool’ next season’s Real Madrid potential XI is looking, he doesn’t want to miss out for anything in the world.

    > Rodrygo has long been highly valued by Real Madrid’s leaders, and the coaching staff see things no differently.

    > At the moment, the club do not want to fuel the debate about his place with Mbappé’s expected arrival. They continue to see him as one of the youngsters leading the new generation & because they are not thinking of selling any of their attackers. @TheAthleticFC

  5. Hot take, but I believe Rodrygo’s slump is coming from movement off the ball. I’m not sure if its a midfield service issue, but his back is always towards goal. He needs to be making runs and getting into 1v1 situations with the keeper where he will 100% shine with his clinical finishing. Watch our games where we don’t score, its almost always because there’s no movement off the ball, nobody making runs, so we pass back and side to side. Watch Brahim, he’s doing well because he’s running his ass off, getting in between defenders. We have an incredibly young squad, we need to be running circles around our competition, use our youth to our advantage.

  6. Surely, the club signs an RW next year if he doesn’t get it together (I think he will if he shows the level of fight from last season) because I don’t see Mbappé being forced out right.

  7. I can’t believe this topic is being discussed. Rodrygo is so important. I don’t wanna hear about it please..

  8. He needs to be benched, Brahim is better at his position and I after yesterday’s game I hope it means Ancelotti is seeing it too.

  9. I’m not worried either. He isn’t scoring but he is playing well, the team is winning, and he is still a threat. It’s not like the rivals don’t care about defending him properly because they know he’ll miss or anything.

I would care if nobody else was scoring, lol. But thanks god VIni is scoring enough for us to win

  10. No Rodrygo slander will be tolerated. It’s so annoying having to be fans with people like you all always nitpicking. First he sucked, then he was amazing, now he sucks again? Nah, that boy is good and he’s gonna be here for a long time hopefully!
