The Queen hosted a reception to celebrate International Women’s Day and mark the end of the ‘WOW Girls Festival Bus Tour’. The WOW Girls Festival is a force for change across society in how it sees girls, their potential and the opportunities it offers for their future. Her Majesty was accompanied at the reception in Buckingham Palace by The Queen of Belgium and The Duchess of Gloucester. Other attendees included singer Mel B, athlete Dame Kelly Holmes and actress Dame Helen Mirren.
