Biden can always find money, sadly he has taken too long and allowed some major losses, but maybe that is the point for him to see that without help there is a possibility however small that pootin might get what he wants. Also, i suspect that from previous rounds of funding there have been some deliveries of stuff. Let’s just hope that this is enough this time to force russia to retreat in some areas.

  4. What a BS headline. CNN knows the money is needed to replace what we have sent to Ukraine. They also know that accounting tricks don’t buy replacement weapons.

  9. no money left to pay YOUR OWN industry to produce NEW EQUIPMENT for YOUR OWN military and sending the OLD stuff to Ukraine instead of decommissioning now or in a few years anyway.

    Yeah we all know how much the US hates spending money on new toys for themselves xD

  11. Sounds like there’s been some money kept aside for delivering Right The Fuck Now things. Hopefully these are part of that, and hopefully there’s something at play. The A-50 attacks, the smashing of Russian aviation, the delivery of a few cluster bomblet lobbing rockets with this donation, and the imminent arrival of the F-16s might all be adding up to… something.

  13. Note that package is still from moeny announced in 2023… And this is the first package of the year. USA support is smaller than support from countries like Finland or Denmark, which speaks for itself.
