I just hope he doesn’t get conditioned too much. There is still work to do. I don’t blame him at all and it’s very reductive to scapegoat him. I mean he is known for his lack of penalties. Our best players all missed great chances and played horrible. Another point to discuss Is squad depth. I do believe we have a great depth but not for strikers. Arnautovic is injury prone and so is Alexis. And they take ages to get in form, And that costed us some energy and an occasion to rest players.( I hate people who change this opinion based on the latest sub performance)
The last point is Guys we have great chances to win the second star before Milan! ( How is that “the second team of Milan reached the goal first?) Let’s not screw it up and most of all let’s not forget it. I know it Hurts, all those missed chances, that bad attitude, it’s a cold shower. I hope they’ll learn the lesson: even if you are stronger the opponent will still try to play their game( atleti for sure) and wins are not granted. Now we can focus on the league( I truly hope for the 100 points).
I really like the foundation we’ve built, in hope for a winning cycle. Next season will be better!
