Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz says an investigation is under way following publication in Russia of a recording of German air force officers purportedly discussing German support to Ukraine and the possible delivery of Taurus missiles. Earlier this week, Scholz had said he was reticent to send the long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, since it could mean Germany’s direct involvement in the war. In turn, it could be viewed as double espionage so that the Russians could react, and in turn either make a decision that causes them to pulled back. But could the Germans foresee Russia pushing forward just because of the weapons Tech offer to Ukraine?

  39. Taurus missiles can be nuclear armed. So if one does get launched, the Russians can't tell if it's a nuclear missile or not. Germany and NATO could potentially be starting the nuclear war.
