  9. These reefs were formed during the cambrian period when the CO2-concentration was 10 times higher than now, the average temperature was 7°C higher than today. So how are these reefs threatened by climate change? They are made from calcium carbonate, they need carbon and high temperatures to survive.

  17. What if human waste disposal into the ocean also contribute to coral bleaching, the chemicals and sewage disposal combine with temp and carbon acid isn't aiding coral life. When sewage is pump into the ocean, the bacteria feeding on such waste are to increase exponentially to increase acidity if not consuming coral reef's as well.
