  1. I'm Hungarian, and like the majority of my fellow countrymen, I am pro-European Union. I loathe Orbán, and I have never voted for him. I make a conscious effort every day to avoid thinking about him and his party as it ruins my day. I sincerely hope he swiftly approves Sweden's NATO membership. By the way, the election rules have been revised in a manner that favors his ruling party, making it more challenging for opposition parties. Please refrain from judging the entire Hungarian nation based on Orbán.

  8. How come something normal has become news? Was it a news that all the countries (ex. Turkey) approved it without issues? Well done to Sweden for not accepting the bulling from Orban, but how long are u going to still tolerate this kind of behavior?

  11. Please, vote NO, to Sweden, in their interest.

    Sweden have been capitalizing on it s Neutral position. It also meant supplying weapons to both sides of conflicts throughout WWI and WWII.

    In a Hungarian proverb, if a donkey is to big, it feels like a horse. But. Sweden, in my humble oppinion is only the workhorse of the US-Led NATO intensions.

    God Bless the Parliament of Hungary for not ratifyinng this Nato agreement contract. The next generations of Swedes will be thankful for it.

  19. Hungary joined the NATO in 1999 and paid their fees since. Why does Sweden want to join NATO only now?

  28. Political theater show and Sweden went along.. The hungarian dictator was coming up with nonsense excuses for almost 2 years on why not to ratify Sweden's NATO bid. When Turkey approved.. he was left alone then he played the .. "you need to visit us before we vote" to pretend there was some real reason ..There was NONE. He was just trying to get good points from his master.. Putyin..quickly selvage his reputation by this visit. Not to mention that he was so du..b that he thought he can use this card also to get the frozen EU funds….. I am Hungarian and feel pity on how the EU lets Orban treat the EU as cow to milk.. Takes the EU funds to enrich his friends and solidify his dictatorship.

  31. Even though my wife is Swedish and I love the country. I am somewhat annoyed with Sweden’s double standards. In its past the country has maintained its independence. Yet now we are something of use to them. Why. Because they’re a little concerned about Russia. Who has no interest in Sweden. Putin is clearly a maniac dictator. But I do not see pushing his luck with Scandinavian countries.
