  6. Yeah no. Especially not when we have Vini and freakin’ Mbappe comes in 3-4 months from now, both of whom are poised for the left-wing position.

    Rodrygo’s been inconsistent this season yes, but he is still an attacking force to be reckoned with regardless of his finishing. Mans is only 23. Give him time, he’ll get there.

  8. Understatable that Garnacho, born and raised in Madrid, dreams of Real Madrid like his Idol Cristiano.

    But that part about Florentino “eager” to meet a LW who’s nowhere near as good as any of our current players in that position is a bit more difficult to believe lol.

    7g 4a so far with United doesnt scream Real Madrid level, yet. He’s 19 so plenty of time for improvement, lets talk again in 2-3 years.

  13. Well, emotions aside, he follows Cristiano in everything, I would prefer he nurtures himself for another year or so and then comes. Because Real Madrid is Real Madrid, it’s not only skill/talent/potential as much as it’s about your mentality and long-term composure.

    IMO he’s not there yet to play for us.

  14. The competition between forwards will be ridiculous next season. We already have two wonderkids who might struggle with minutes (Endrick, Guler), so getting another one is a bad idea.

He is very good in terms of productivity and consistency for his age in terms of that he can deliver at a professional level despite being so young but I don’t see that raw ability that makes me think that he has a sky high ceiling in terms of potential. His technique, pace, dribbling, shooting, passing are all good but none of it is exceptional.

    Güler has done jack shit compared to Garnacho on a professional level in a top 5 league but when you watch him you know he has special talents like his technique, vision and IQ. That’s the difference between ability and potential.

  17. I like him and really want him to develop into a world class winger but he simply isn’t Madrid level yet. Perhaps in a few years it might be possible but not rn when we already have a shit ton of wingers in the squad.

  19. Spanish media put the rumour out last week that Perez wants to meet with Haaland and Garnacho.

    I auppose if moving Haaland proves impossible, he’d settle for Garnacho.

    Signing another winger would then cement Mbappe as a ST and I’m not sure if he’d want that.
