[Sky Sport] Juan Jesus will not appeal against the decision to acquit Acerbi. JJ had considered resorting to ordinary justice, but decided to abide by the arbitration clause. He could’ve got authorization from FIGC to proceed, but he wants to remain “inside the system” without pursuing it legally.

He handled this very professionally imo and has been very calm about this. Even immediately after the incident he wanted to brush it aside for Acerbi and Inter’s sake, most people wouldn’t have done that if they heard what he heard (and rightfully so). Gained a lot of respect for him
I’m pretty sure he consulted a lawyer and since there’s zero evidence and it’s basically “my word against his”, he was advised to not go forward.
Not saying it didn’t happen, mind you, just it is what it is. I still feel bitter about this, didn’t expect such crap from Acerbi.
Good. Now other things can go forward and move on from this.
