4. I’ve been a fan for more or less 30 years and I don’t remember being this upset about a coaching decision before.. I’ve wanted a coach fired before, sure, but this is just worse

7. The only thing that gives me hope for a rebuild was Eberl’s comment yesterday: “The speech during the week was extremely emotional. Thomas put everything into that meeting room. This is not what Thomas deserved.”

8. To think that Yesterday’s loss wasn’t even the worst loss of this year

9. The only good thing about these results is that the excuses for our board to not act in summer are getting less again. You could already tell that the mood was getting far too optimistic everywhere again after the wins against Lazio, Mainz and Darmstadt. Far too many people talked about maybe still reaching CL finals. Players like Goretzka suddenly got praised everywhere again, people could not understand why he is not invited to the NT after years of weak performances just because he had one average and one good game against weak opponents…

   Our squad is only up to our very high standards in one category: the wages they receive. Mentally and general quality wise we are far from it. We are finally back to the times where Andreas Ottl and Christian Lell would manage to get regular playing time as a starter again.
