attack on Israel and for her family she
could have been spared if the state
provided protection to its population

attacked it was on the news the whole
area is unprotected there are no houses
that can offer even a minimum of
protection not just for our family but
the whole
region she’s one of the roughly 300,000
bedwin descendant of Muslim Arab
Shepherds living in the country about
half of them live in villages that are
not officially recognized by the
government they can’t build permanent
homes they live in small HS under
constant threat of demolition they don’t
get basic services and lack rocket

government to prevent any more victims
in the meantime when shots are fired

The little girl currently in intensive care belongs to the Bedouin community, descendants of Muslim Arab shepherds who live in the Negev and are often denied many of the rights granted to other citizens. “We have no shelter,” lamented Amina’s father, who criticised Israeli authorities for leaving him and his family at the mercy of rockets and missiles.
