Found this articles, telling Lunin cannot win the Zamora trophy, because he will finish with 26 games and you require 28 games to qualify for the Zamora trophy. Could someone confirm this?

  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://tribuna.com/en/news/realmadrid-2023-12-25-andriy-lunin-already-out-of-contention-for-zamora-trophy-heres-why/](https://tribuna.com/en/news/realmadrid-2023-12-25-andriy-lunin-already-out-of-contention-for-zamora-trophy-heres-why/)**

  2. Yes, Lunin is gonna get robbed due to Kepa starting too many games

  3. Yup. A keeper has to play 28 matches (to be counted as a match, the keeper has to play at least 60 minutes in those matches)

I personally don’t think it’s that weird. As the trophy is for the lowest “goals-to-games” ratio, there has to be a line drawn. I mean, having a backup that plays 5 games and only concedes once winning it would be weird. 28/38 games is just over 70% of the games. Seems completely fair to me tbh.

(Btw, it has always been about 70% of the matches. Since the beginning. No matter if the league had 10, 12, 14 or 20 teams)

  4. He’ll just have to do with the league winners medal … and a champions league one to make up for it

  5. Feels bad for the guy, but he’ll most likely be in the UCL TOTY at this point.
