He definetely was well aware that his health would only get worse, after he was suffering with constant reoccurring injuries when he declined to extend his contract till 24, even said that he wouldn’t want to become a burden to the Club, if his body didn’t give up on him probably would’ve played another 2 seasons at a brilliant level and then took the saudi offer, real shame.
