Russia’s Ocheretyne Attack THWARTED??!

is Russia’s breakthrough Advance near
Ultra ratina finally slowing down or is
it just turning preparing for its next
phase I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran
let’s talk about it so this is the last
update from we have that we have for the
map is actually the 30th right so uh two
days ago uh and you can see that it does
show some gains for Russian forces again
they’re consolidating this bridge here
between caramic alra TOA and they make a
relatively small Advance into this empty
field here um so that almost looks like
Russian forces might be trying to take
this um Ark onety but you can see it’s
uh the terrain is pretty unforgiving
right it’s it’s got some uh elevated
terrain here and then it’s got this
these series of of kind of uh Crescent
shaped Rivers here or reservoirs and
that’s going to make it really for
Russian forces right because they
literally can’t assault from caramic
they’re going to run into this Reservoir
and it’s even harder to assault from
noville oh my God noville lexandria
because they’re going to have to assault
up a hill so this may be the favorable
terrain that uh Ukraine was looking for
and to hold this sort of northwesterly
push that we’re seeing from the um
Russian forces uh but when we look at
the combat map you can see again the
situation changing really dynamically
this has been much more remiss to assess
control but you can still see some level
of uh control here spanning from Novo
lexandria all the way to caramic uh and
of course in archanges right this uh
kind of being a Ukrainian redout so it
seems possible uh that the ukrainians
may be starting to build a new defensive
line and contain
this Russian breach but the real
information right you can see though
Ukraine is engaging in about a 100
combat engagements with Russian forces
across the front line Russia and we know
usually when we see a thre digigit
Russian uh number of attacks it’s
usually a Russian offensive is underway
and you can see that they are seizing
this target of opportunity concentrating
a ton of those attacks across this front
in oh let’s Ina from caramic All the Way
South to natova and again I we’re going
to talk in a minute about another source
that assesses that the Russian offensive
is petering out uh but before we do of

okay now Institute for the study of war
is saying that Russian forces didn’t
make any new advances in the F Diva area
on April 30th and this is the first time
in several days where this has been the
case Ukrainian forces are saying that
Russia is doubling down on the bachet
chv Yar Direction rather than continue
to push near F Diva um now the uh
evening report on April 30th right which
it doesn’t appear to have been updated
yet I believe this report this April
30th is from 4:27 so probably not quite
the evening report uh notes that uh that
the number of attacks outside CH of Yar
57 actually outnumbers the 47 attacks in
the F Diva Direction um now Russian
forces
uh have been pushing really hard I don’t
know what else to tell you um and
Russian M bloggers are claiming they’re
continuing to advance um but isw can’t
necessarily confirm any advances we know
that Russian mil bloggers will say a lot
of things that aren’t really true uh so
isw saying no the Russians are slowing
their pace of Advance they finally have
to take a breather um but again it
remains to be seen whether this is
actually the case guys that is all I had
