the response to this was unjustified we
were told that they we most likely would
have a sweep in the morning my classes
were made remote for tomorrow and I
believe that they did this early on and
most likely in coordination with
Colombia to catch us off guard it’s just
it’s a violation of our rights I I’ve
never seen any anything like this before
I think the last time we had something
this protest with this amount of cops
and this amount of students was probably
in the 1960s with the Puerto Rican um
protest when they were’re not letting
people of color into this institution

300 people were arrested at Colombia and
City College we are processing the
arrest to distinguish between who are
actual students and who were not
supposed to be on the ground and we
pointed out yesterday uh these external
actors with a history of escalating
situations and trying to create chaos
not to peacefully protest but create
chaos

Police arrested almost 300 pro-Palestine protesters on Tuesday at the City College of New York and Columbia University, where students set up encampments and barricaded themselves in university buildings. There was a large police presence at the New York campuses before they entered and broke up the encampments. Demonstrations have swept US universities, as students demand their institutions sever links with Israeli companies and universities and call for an end to Israel’s assault on Gaza, where more than 30,000 people have been killed

  1. I love how many of the protesters on both sides have hidden their faces. If you REALLY believe in what you’re saying you’d do so without hiding your identity. No respect from me to you.

  2. The level of passion and dedication in this thread is palpable. It's clear that everyone here cares deeply about the topic at hand.😚

  3. Until Palestine is free, all the peoples of the world will continue to be one heart for Palestine..despite their pro-oppressive governments!! 🌎❤️🇵🇸

  4. Hey, Nancy Pelosi, hope you think this is a beautiful sight, just like you said about the riots (sorry, “peaceful protests” as always described by Western politicians and media) in Hong Kong 2019 – 20. And Ted Cruz gave his support to the same riots (sorry, “peaceful protests” as always described by Western politicians and media) as well.

  5. If you want to know who rules your country, try to find out who you are not allowed to criticise. You can critise Biden but you can't criticise Netanyahu. Figure the rest out yourself.
