“Will Gavi return from the injury at the same level in your opinion?”

  1. He’s a beast.Beasts don’t worry about tiny little bruises before going to hunt

  2. He will be even better. Gavi has insane mentality and he will definitely bounce back both mentally and physically.I also feel Gavi will benefit from Xavi’s faith in him.

  3. I love him, but his whole thing was intensity and strength. I know medicine is incredible today but recovering those things after a full ACL tear is unlikely.

  4. Tbh it would be amazing if instead of being so intense he was still a ball winning midfielder but used his great technically and became our new dm. If his game transformed to be our dm id love it. Ball winning, tackles, interceptions and great passes would be a game changer for us. But thats hopeful i can imagine him being less intense and showing his more technical side more. I just hope culers dont give him crap for being less intense and less work rate.

  5. We really hope yes but we understand he went almost a year without playing. The club has to sign a midfielder to replace Pedri and Gavi because we can’t be 100% sure if they will be available most of next season.

  6. probably…his chief asset is his mentality. if he can trust his knee he can come back as his old self.

  7. I think no bcoz it’s a long term injury so he needs some matches to regain confidence and form.
If he plays the preseason matches then it will be very good for him to gain confidence in those non important matches.

  8. I think so. He seems like such an intense, dedicated player that I fully believe he’ll back to the same. I believe he will continue his upward trajectory. Really missed him while he’s been out.

  9. Wirtz had the same injury and look at him now, also the same injury had our head coach Xavi when he was young…the rest is history

  10. If there’s any player that can do it it’s him. He has a crazy good mentality

  11. One would hope so. Gavi and Pedri have been as bright as Lamine and Cubarsi in their initial years and Barça needs to preserve the young talents.

  12. ACL surgeries have come a long ways for pro athletes. Many of them come back at least as strong, if not stronger.

  13. “In your opinion” how can we have an opinion when we have no idea…

  14. If he respects his healing time, yes. It takes a minimum of 10 months but is recommended that 12 months is better for an ACL injury

  15. I say he will lose some explosiveness or speed. So he will have to improve his positioning to fix that problem. He will have more experience now of when to attack and what attack approach to do.
