this is the situation in Gaza as Hamas returns to the negotiation table among the latest instructions these buildings in Rafa the southern city pounded again this is supposedly the safe area in Rafa we were displaced and came to it it is nonsense all areas are the same there are civilians and children dying in the deal currently discussed bombardments and fighting could be halted for several weeks Hamas wants to push it further demanding that the long multiphased process would end with Israeli forces pulling out of Gaza that’s the mean’s sticking point Israel’s government still wants to destroy what it calls hamas’s last battalions to avoid new attacks once Israeli troops leave the ground the fact Hamas is sending negotiators to Egypt and that isma hi the head of the political wing of the group describes their Spirit as positive is seen as an encouraging sign a hope that Israeli hostage families are Clinging On to as perhaps the last chance to see their loved ones come home alive for do O’s family that hope was dashed as authorities said the 49-year-old was killed on October 7th like his wife two of their children were taken hostage and released by Hamas in November 133 hostages are still held by Hamas many are believed to be dead their families are pleading that they all be released
Hamas said it was considering in a “positive spirit” a proposed truce and hostage release deal with Israel as the bloodiest ever Gaza war claimed more lives on Friday.

Their last charter, in 2005 article 13, made it clear they did not want peace other than to regroup and continue the fight.
Whilst it was watered down no doubt to get some credibility from the international community, their actions have shown they still think that way. There will never be peace until Hamas abandons islamic jihad as a method to solve their issues.
Dont think those who died because of this evil conflict will be forgotten
But I thought they were winning?! Why the truce guys? Running out of ammo and missle salvos? That's tough grapes for real. Get well soon
