  1. I had a look at Manchester United’s xGA (expected goals against) numbers [this season](https://fbref.com/en/squads/19538871/Manchester-United-Stats#all_matchlogs), and to be honest, it’s a bloodbath. They allow way too much pressure, and I really doubt this can be explained by player quality alone.
This is, of course, not the only thing that should be taken into account when looking for a new coach, but I’m really not wild about ten Hag joining Bayern.

  2. Some positive affirmations ahead of Wednesday’s clash:
    – Against all odds (considering our overall season), we’re in the Champions League semi-finals.
    – We’re 2-2 on aggregate. No away goals rule. Anything can happen.
    – We dominated the first leg.
    – Matthijs DeBeast is back for the second leg.
    – Eric DeBauer is ready 💪🏻
    – 70% of Earth is covered with water. The rest is covered by Cardio Konnie.
    – We employ Messiala 🐐
    – Sané is back on the scoresheet and he’s hungrier for trophies than ever.
    – We have the world’s best striker and he’s in the form of his life.
    – We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. This is our do or die moment and the boys will give it their all.
    – Tuchel is a master tactician at the biggest stage. He was made for games like this.
    – Our Away fans will definitely out-cheer the quiet touristy fans of the Bernabeu.

  3. Our board is full of clowns if they consider ETH or any other Premier League reject. Can we please find a manager that has the quality to manage Bayern and not some shitter that can’t get a win with Manchester United.

  4. Some people are calling our new home jersey coke zero lol

  5. Does anyone know what the problem is with with Sacha Boey?

  6. Titles won and points per game are stupid metrics to judge a coach by.

Rather, judging the competence of a coach is a very complex task. In fact I think besides maybe Eberl probably noone in the management of our club even can properly judge more than two or three of the coaches who have been discussed. Let alone people online doing so.

  7. I hope Dortmund advances tonight, so it’s extra motivation for Wednesday and the german lads in the team in terms of rivalry. Wembley 2013 remake in progress. LETS GO

  8. >Bayern will activate a €1.5m buy-back clause to bring Armindo Sieb back to the club from Greuther Fürth this summer. The club will then extend Sieb’s contract until 2027 or 2028 and send him out on loan. Bayern are very happy with his performances [@FabrizioRomano]

  9. Posted earlier about preferring our assistant managers to coach the team over having ETH or some other PL failure come to Bayern and fail to manage our team again. People seemed to disagree with me and I really don’t understand why. Would we prefer to see Bayern have another shit season under ETH? Historically speaking, some the managerial options we have considered (ie ETH or Da Zerbi) can’t even buy a win this season. Why do we think it will be any different at Bayern? Why can’t we consider realistic options instead of going for bottom of the barrel trash.

  10. One of my biggest critiques of Freund and now Eberl is how every potential new manager or player transfer is leaked to the press before it’s finalised. It makes us look like we don’t have our house in order and these leaks have made us look very unprofessional.

  11. Providing some perspective:

In his current season, Eric ten Hag has guided an injury-plagued Manchester United to 8th place (tied with Chelsea on points), averaging 1.53 points per game. They never dropped below 12th place.

In contrast, Jürgen Klopp’s final season at Borussia Dortmund saw the team earn 1.35 points per game. They spent 10 matchdays in the relegation zone and were bottom of the table for three matchdays before turning things around to finish 7th.

Still, no one would call Klopp a bad coach. And since then, after joining a new club Klopp has shown what he can do. Maybe we just need to accept that sometimes seasons like these can happen.

  12. Fuck it, lets just keep hiring shit coaches that get sacked every other season.

  13. I don’t really care anymore.
Give us Ten Haag, with Robben as an assistant. Would be fun to see Robben back at our club. I also think that the “dutch” style of football suits us. Most importantly: we really have to calm down. The fans, the team, the board.

You can’t work with full focus in such an environment.

  14. > Ralf Rangnick on whether his decision not to join Bayern was influenced by Uli Hoeneß’ recent statements: “I’ve had a very friendly relationship with Uli Hoeneß for a long time. Contrary to some media reports, his public statements had no influence on my decision to stay with Austria” [@georg_holzner, @kicker]

  15. >Real Madrid have a full squad in training, except David Alaba, ahead of tomorrow’s game

    Of course they do

    Edit:

    >With the exception of Guerreiro, Coman, Boey and Sarr, everyone is available in today’s training

    OK could have been worse

  16. Theo Hernández has agreed to join Bayern Munich this summer.

But: no agreement with AC Milan yet.
    Theo could replace Alphonso Davies.

Actual positive rumor about us? Been a while
