ever looked out on the street and wondered why so many cars are white well you’re not wrong worldwide 34% of new cars in 2022 were white and white is the most popular choice in China at 50% compared to Europe’s 25% so why all the whes well there’s no hard evidence as to why but here are some theories white is great for hiding scratches dust and small dents and being a popular color easier to resell the white car looks bigger creating a sense of grandeur and luxury what about Good Old peer pressure if every other car is white do you want to be in the minority there’s also a cultural significance to White In some cultures often associated with Purity cleanliness and simplicity so next time you see a sea of white on the road there’s a reason for it

  7. I was never a fan of having a white car. To me, white painted vehicles are reserved for Ambulances, Ice Cream trucks, Service/Utility vehicles, and Mormons.
