Putin warns of global fighting, says Russia won’t be threatened

earlier today Russian President Vladimir Putin said the country will not be threatened and forces are always in a state of Readiness he made the remarks during a Victory Day speech the annual celebration of the Soviet Union defeating Nazi Germany in World War II Holly Williams is following this for us this morning uh so Holly uh tell us what else did Vladimir Putin have to say good morning vladin and Marie well I think Putin said exactly what we would think he would say on on Victory Day He praised the Russian military he blamed the West and more specifically Western Elites for causing conflicts around the world and he sought to I think kind of rally the Russian people saying quote Russia is going through a difficult crucial period the fate of the motherland depends on each of us Russia of course uh is at War it is more alienated from the West than it’s been uh since the end of the Cold War and Putin himself is under indictment by the international criminal court uh Putin also said today that there was nothing unusual about Russia holding nuclear drills practicing uh for the use of tactical nuclear weapons that was announced by the Russian military on Monday but on the contrary outside of Russia that announcement has been interpreted as a warning or or a threat perhaps trying to push the West to dial back its support for Ukraine or even frighten ukrainians into some kind of a compromise which would presumably mean giving up some of their country their land to Russia with this war in Ukraine much has been made of about the level of the uh Russian military’s weapons that they are pulling out Soviet era Weaponry to sort of spitshine them and put them back out there um on the front line what is the significance of the Weaponry that we saw in this parade right so look the parade um sees thousands of Russian service people uh marching through Central Moscow it’s the most important non-religious uh celebration non-religious holiday in Russia and as you’ve just pointed out uh in previous years uh people have often looked at this parade both inside and outside Russia to see what new military technology Russia might have or that the Kremlin uh might be wanting to show off although as you just suggested there anarie one thing that’s really come out of the war in Ukraine that the war in Ukraine has shown is that Russian military technology is not as advanced as many people thought it was before the war we’ve seen Russians uh using in many cases outdated era weapons in Ukraine and in some cases you know not using them very well um I think what’s more interesting than the military technology in this parade is really the symbolism Victory Day as you pointed out Vlad celebrates the defeat of Nazi Germany I think that defeat resonates in Russia even more than it does in Europe and the US and perhaps that’s because since World War II uh Russians arguably have not had uh too much that was kind of Glorious in their history you know they had the failed communist experiment they had the collapse of the Soviet Union and the humiliations that followed and I think for that reason we’ve seen Vladimir Putin try and connect the war in Ukraine to World War II even justifying it by saying it’s you know they’re undertaking the den nazification of Ukraine the irony there of course is that Ukraine’s President Vladimir zalinski is himself Jewish his grandfather fought against the Nazis and while there’s a far right-wing element in Ukraine there’s also one in Russia and you know for that matter there’s also one in the US uh at least they people injured in a Ukrainian attack on the Russian city of uh belgrad what more do you know about that Holly so we have a Russian official um saying that this was a Ukrainian Air Attack that damaged residential buildings in belgrod this is not new we have seen these attacks on belgar Rod over and over again during the war it’s very close to Ukraine’s border now this comes just days after the UK’s foreign minister said earlier this month on a visit to Kiev that Ukraine can use British weapons inside Russia now that’s extremely interesting because the US has been quite anxious about Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory uh presumably because the US fears you an escalation all right Holly thank you very much

  3. Yeah, I've read this nonsense. It went "You say in your hearts, I sit as a queen and shall see no sorrow, but her total destruction will come in one hour". Your laughing it up at a man and people that just killed 600,000 soldiers in Ukraine and is holding 7500 nuclear weapons!!! What on earth would make you believe he won't mash the button?????   6. Putin wants every one to think he would be stupid enough o use nuclear weapons we already know by his actions he is not. He has witnessed many times that just rattling the nuclear word allows thousands of Ukrainians to die. As many ignorant of what deterents are put their tails between their legs and allow other to die for their fears. And then not realizing that falling for the nuclear word rattle allowing a tyrant no restrictions creates a monster that would end in nuclear annulation.

  17. In Russia's Victory Parade Speech President Vladimir Putin said that "Russia will do everything to prevent a Global Conflict! But at the same time, We will not allow anyone to threaten us!" —– Ever since the Fall of the USSR, I am wondering whether indeed the U.S. CIA & the U.K.'s MI-6 decided to start a Propaganda Campaign to demonize Russia and to seek it's demise?? If you recall when Hillary Clinton was U.S. Secretary of State, it seemed like it was almost every week in the News Media that she kept accusing Russia of U.S. Election Interference? She even tried to suggest a Collusion between Donald Trump and Russia? A few years before that she kept pushing allegations of fraud and voter-rigging on behalf of Putin allies in the December 2011 Russian Parliamentary Elections? It almost seems like the U.S. & the U.K. had it out for Russia many many years ago ever since the Fall of the USSR??

Holly is laughable, presenting her report like a pouty teenager who can't get her own way and all because the truth is that Putin is ten times a better leader than any in the west and has pulled Russia up from the disastrous collapse of the Soviet Union to a position where it can withstand all and any sanctions the west can throw at it, maintain and then grow its GDP and become self sufficient all while winning the conflict in Ukraine. That the west is supporting such an endemicly corrupt country as Ukraine which has taken neo nasty militias into its main army is disgusting – and Zelensky being Jewish to refute this is like saying that no black discrimination could exist while Obama was President. Search 'far right in Ukraine' and there are plenty of videos pre 2022 which amply expose the fascist behaviour of these swastika waving torch bearing fanatics in Kiev replacing antisemitism with russophobia.     * Because of God's love for us, He sent his only son Jesus Christ to die in our place on the cross. Jesus Christ took all the weight of our sins so we can be saved through grace, NOT our works.

    * The blood that Jesus shed on the cross can wash away our sins and make us clean

    4. Through Jesus Christ, we can now have eternal life in HEAVEN – (Rom. 6:23b) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    *Gift – free, but you can only have it if you receive it. If you reject it then the punishment of Hell is waiting for you

    5. How can I receive eternal life? – (Rom. 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

    * You have to admit you are a sinner and you cannot save yourself from Hell nor go to Heaven through your own efforts.

     You have to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried and rose again after 3 days and that He and only He can save you from hell.

    (Roman 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  

    * Whosoever means anyone including me and you!

    Dear God, I admit I am a sinner and cannot save myself from hell. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins, was buried and rose again. I believe that only  Jesus Christ can save me from Hell and He is the only way to Heaven.  I accept Jesus Christ in my heart as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for eternal life. Amen.

  43. I would love to see that court try to pick Putin up and these people are misleading people they have gotten stronger every day NATO knows without nukes Russia kicks are teeth out.
