The lad is 19. If he’s not in Xavi’s plans, then he needs first team minutes somewhere.
I think the truth is, that we just don’t know. We don’t see what contracts say, we don’t know what training sessions are like, we don’t know anything about him. Yeah sure we can start him in a few more games, but he was never going to come here and be the immediate first choice striker. Lewa is our first choice and probably will be until he’s injured or leaves.
Going to another smaller team like Betis or maybe Savilla would get him used to the league, get him minutes, let him adapt, let him grow. No matter what the press says about our team, which is quite normally just trying to destroy us, he is the new kid.
He’s not being treated poorly, hes got to prove himself indispensable, and right now at Barca he just isn’t going to get that chance. Yes, he’s exciting and I really can’t wait to have him and Gavi body smashing defences to oblivion, but there is plenty of time for him to merge into our team.
A year somewhere else isn’t going to hurt. We might regret it when he scores 30 goals in a season but for now just let his path run its course.
Soon on this subreddit we’ll see users posting cars selling or eafc points… is here any criteria for posting here at all?
