  1. Russia didn't fight in WW2. WW2 began when Nazi Germany and their USSR allies invaded Poland. The Great Patriotic War began with Operation Barbarossa.

  9. Pootin has taken on the role of Hitler with his blatant and fully admitted war of conquest. He brings shame to the concept of victory day, and shame to all in the "federation" which is now the aggressor and source of evil.

Why is the West not in celebration in their capitals as it is said Allied victory day and only Russia is, or they are celebrations going on in Washington, London, Paris etc and their Presidents are giving victory speeches to their subjects but again why are the world medias not covering these great events instead covering Russian only?

  25. russia's might! putin must not be allowed to forget that the Lend Lease Program from the United States sent $180 billion in today's currency. russia has been Great at times in history, but at this stage russia will be better off without you, that is, unless China is going to do a Lend Lease program (along with North Korea) of their own.

European countries fought so "bravely" with the Nazis that they surrendered in record time: Denmark – 6 hours, Netherlands – 5 days, Yugoslavia – 12 days, Belgium – 18 days, Greece – 24 days, Poland – 36 days, France – 43 days, Norway – 61 days. These "winners" should be reminded that the Pavlov House in Stalingrad held out for 58 days, while the Soviet Union fought Hitler for 1418 days and ended the war by hoisting the Victory Banner over the Reichstag. And such countries like Italy, Romania, Finland and Japan supported Hitler. We should never forget. And yes, Russia celebrates the Victory Day today!!!

  31. The story of Russia being threatened are rhetoric. Hermann Gøring also said tell people they are in danger and they round up around the strong leader. No one threaten Russia accept maybe some Islamic groups. Putins rhetoric sounds very old. They lie about the war like they did it alone. The truth is that allied forces paved way for that to happen. The Russian campaign 1945 has been called the "rape train" from the enormous rapes and attroceties Russia forces did on German girls. Grandmother and children.

    Russia must become under control by the west is my belief. To be democratic and better for the Russians themselves as well.
