King Charles Hands Over Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps Role to Prince William

Shan What It Go I did just want to say what a great uh Joy it is to be with you even briefly on this occas a uh but also tinged with great sadness after 32 years of of knowing you all and admiring all your many activities and your achievements throughout the time that I’ve been lucky enough to be col in Chief of the army aircore and of course all that time on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan I I watched with um again immense admiration for what you did and managed to to to do out there and of course with this remarkable Apache here um I remember I think I probably was taken up in one of these ones all those years ago and I shall never forget it nor will I forget the fact that when I first became col and chief you still had quite a few fixed wi aircraft one or two of which I flew in and along with some rather ancient helicopters so all I can say is that having had the pleasure of knowing you for so long I do hope you’ll go from strength to strength in the future uh with the the Prince of Wales as your new colonel in Chief the great thing is he’s a very good pilot indeed so that’s encouraging so let look out to yourselves and and and I I can’t tell you how proud it has made me to have been involved with you all this time thank you [Music] now here yes yeah just me [Music]

  2. So proud of Prince William a truly great young man.
A credit to the Royal Family.
And i have to say King Charles is looking pretty good considering he is poorly.
    God Bless our Royal Family.

  3. Anne was right, Charles' "trimmed down" monarchy is not working. Giving titles to the same 3-5 people diminishes the significance of the title. Charles needs to involve the entire family like his mother did so effectively.

  4. Our Family noticed our Father-in-Law and/or Dad before his 2nd cancer diagnosis; that his cancer had spread to his brain because he would talk but the words he chose wouldnt make a lot of sense based on what he was doing at the time!
3:17 ÌThen, within a few months, it seemed obvious to the rest of the Family but definitely not to Dad!!
He brushed it off. He was tougher than the illness ever could be against him!
It was a courageous move to make a stand against but as soon as he got the medical update from his Doctor who helped him the beat one portion of the Cancer; when it came back more vicious than the first time and had spread to 3 more organs. A lot of us; in his immediate family can reflect on Dad's actions and arguements that came put of the Blue at various Family Gatherings and it just wasnt like our Dad to do any of those behaviors and that is when we sorta "time-date-stamped" that Dads cancer was back BEFORE the official diagnosis! I feel really bad for the Royals and Prince William & Prince Harry as they witness their own Dad, Currently the King of England, have to manage and cope with such private medical diagnosis so publically and because its truly a private issue that should have zero grand-standing at each and every corner, King Charles, does endure for himself, The Royal Family, his immediate Family and Special Friends.
Its so absolutely heartbreaking to observe and listen to King Charles as he promotes other Royals to new positions or speaks at his many engagements between additional doctor's appointments that no matter how much he would like to be known as a working Royal and thee King of England; that he is also mortal like the rest of us human beings and is going to face the thing that he cannot side-step or walk away from!!!!!
    Publically or Privately!
I think it might be even worser for King Charles because everything is so Public and ge cannot even escape the scrutiny of the Public Eye or even the current media platforms because they fail to remember that this ultra Private news should be kept that way and under wraps by HIPPA Laws in place for other humans on this Rock but not for The Royal Family?
How and Why does this Ultra Private Matter get to be Paraded about in Public Forums??
Its terrible enough to watch from the sidelines with King Charles entire Family helpless to truly help him at this time in his Life!!!
Makes me wonder what was King Charles and Princess Kate were exposed to that brung them each to Cancer's doorstep???
Prince William really has to be torn between his two VIP Loves during these most troubling days with such delicate matters even a personal scale!

  5. Perhaps he is receiving instructions on how the father mentally destroys his mother, since the example of the horns makes it clear.
Carlos and Camila have really taken on the task of destroying Kate and the husband has not even publicly shown empathy for her, he is ruthless, for WillianWilliam it is better like taking a burden off his shoulders to continue his adventures, his sons and daughter will take care of remember how badly he did as head of the family and husband.

  6. Good to see the King endorsing his son who has been loyal to family and country. And good on HRH William Prince of Wales. God bless TRF and all of UK.

  7. Dang I didn’t realize how tall Prince William is standing next to King Charles, Congratulations to Prince William❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
