  1. A fine for a crime is just a tax for the rich… no way this happens. Or do i just have too much faith in those prosecuting them?

  2. oh that’s some bullshit. Surely it has to be points deduction like other teams got as well

  3. Relegation to the non league and all titles for the periods removed surely? But we all know the corruption runs deep, so as long as pockets are lined, they’ll be fine.

  4. What if they removed the trophies and those trophies should be given to the second place

  5. Hahahaha. So lame!

….ahhh, why should we deduct points and remove trophies that do not help us “move forward” when we can charge them £350M and secure our bonuses for years to come…🤦‍♂️

  6. That’s it? What’s that going to do? They’ll make that money up in in no time.

  7. Read the article- complete bunch of hypothetical arse, plucked out of a Journo’s imagination

  8. Yet another opportunity for a ban on untrustworthy sources for this sub. Too many nonsense. Articles posing as valid information.

  9. Seems low to me if you are taking into account relegation money, champions league and extra TV appearance money.

    One relegation is worth £60-100m.

  10. If it doesn’t go into FFP expenses which it actually should go, it’s a joke. Otherwise it could mean the end of Man City

  11. I see that the £350m is for loss of revenues, so paid as compensation. But according to the article, Everton would be owed the most and West Ham third most. How did they come to this, I was expecting their direct rivals to be compensated most?

  12. How convenient when City will just announce a unique partnership, exclusive, rare, sponsorship deal with some random company with a 1 page website and 2 employees for hmmm £350million.

  13. £350 million is like £3:50 to them
Unless it’s a relegation, Massive points deduction or titles taken off them any fine is pointless

All the league will do is give that money to charities/The football pyarmid & City will get away with it again

    Rinse & repeat

  14. The oil men can pay that out of the petty cash tin. Hit them where it hurts – relegation and points deductions.

  15. Lord Pannick is going to be their Player of the Season

  16. Fun fact, for that amount of money, they could run an F1 team for 2 1/2 seasons

May I suggest that the UAE Government stop playing football and start playing F1… imagine a UAE nationalised F1 team… you could have the flag as the Livery.

Just go on, sell up and go do F1.there’s a US Hedgefund just dying to get Man City…

  17. The price for cheating is a small fine and they get to keep all their winnings. That’s like robbing a bank for £1,000,000, and being fined £10,000 as punishment.

  18. It should count towards their FFP too. any left over should be transferred to the following year also

  19. Honestly curious how much money they have won through cup wins and league championships across the years they have been investigated for. Cost benefit I’m sure the net charge is probably comes out to less than half

  20. They will always be remembered as the Lance Armstrong of Premier League Football

  21. There has been a sense of disbelief at Anfield that City have struck a 10-year deal, worth £400million, to have their home rebranded The Etihad Stadium and Liverpool’s principal owner John W Henry sardonically asked on Twitter: ‘How much was the losing bid?’

We’d all love to know John!!

  22. Only City would just get a fine which barely scrapes their owners bank account. Nice one Premier League. They could do another 115 charges if they wanted and just payed the fine again

  23. How about booting their corrupt asses out of the league
