  3. I am probably going to get roasted for this, but I am not sure Mourinho is that bad of a candidate anymore. I know he is sort of a meme but hear me out.

    He has the name recognition and trophies to hopefully not scare off new players from signing, and current players we want to extend. He has a winning record a lot of stops he has made, and that brings gravitas. He also has experience(and some success depending on the stop) managing large egos which we clearly have. I know his brand of football isn’t the most beautiful, but we are now in a recovery mode, and if handled correctly I think he can bring a few years of stability while a true successor takes shape.

    We would have to give him a longer contract than the board probably wants, but at this point who else could manage this squad? Idk, maybe I am just in denial.

  7. I don’t get te opposition to Mourinho. I believe he would adapt the same style he applied to his Madrid, good defense and direct counter attack. Bayern has fast players on the wings and a number 9 who is great at creating spaces.

    And at this point Bayern is on a good position to negociate with him, he doesn’t have major offers from big clubs, he said he wants Champions. Bayern can offer 2 years which is the Best case for him.

    Also, he was the last one to stop Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen, on the Semi-final of last season, Mourinho’s Roma won the global by 1-0, winning the first match been superior and doing a masterclass of defense of the second leg.

    As far on the players he might want, probably a number 5, as he always ask for one. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg would be ideal, he knows Bayern already, he was very good with Mou and he is on the last year of his contract with Tottenham.

  8. Regarding Tuchel time with us. He definitely wasn’t good coach for us, but he was best manager since Guardiola.

  12. I’m glad this season is over. Please just let’s sort some of the problems out.

    It’s astounding that despite the injuries, a not always great fit between coach and squad and an insufficient squad on top we managed to be one goal away from the champions league final. With 72 points we’d have won the league in the last 4-5 years.

    Before Hoffenheim we had 10 injured players. With pavlovic it’s an entire squad now. That’s just insane.
