How did the attack on Slovakia’s prime minister come about? | DW News

Doctors are fighting to save the life of Slovakia’s prime minister Robert Fico. He was shot five times in what the government is calling a politically motivated assassination attempt. The 59-year-old populist pro-Russia premier is undergoing emergency surgery. Doctors say his condition is critical. Slovakia’s president has called it a ‘brutal and reckless’ attack. Other national leaders have condemned the shooting. A suspect was arrested at the scene.

  19. In Georgia its government does not represent the people. We can see the tens of thousands of protesters. Despite the fact that the police and government use violence and are causing people to lose their jobs for protesting, they try to guilt guilt guilt the people out of protesting. Don't be fooled. Your life depends on it.
