It would be unwise for royals to underestimate the Sussexes – says royal expert

the sussexes of n made a splash in Nigeria there’s no doubt whatever that it was a sort of semi- Royal tour the interesting aspect of Nigeria is that it has been completely unclear from the coverage I’ve seen how interested the Nigerian people generally were in this and how many actually saw some of the events it was a private ter such as talking at a school about Mental Health basketball match an event where Megan talked about uh women and Leadership and also where there is the final day of the tour today as it was Private Security issues of course were very significant now Harry went to kaduna I saw wounded veterans kaduna people are not advised to go there it was somewhat dangerous I would have thought now if you consider the fact that Harry’s had cases in court here about the fact that when he and Megan stepped down as senior working Royals they lose the security that went with that uh it will be considered on a Case by casee basis he appealed against that and also uh he offered to pay for police protection you simply couldn’t have that he didn’t didn’t get his way uh you couldn’t have it because it would be a two-tier um service which the wealthy could pay for and that’s simply not possible it went well enough I mean Megan managed to find out she was 43% Nigerian and that gave her a um a feeling of uh being or belonging to the country fair enough but where the sussexes are concerned it would unquestionably and there’s no doubt about this there’s a huge question mark over how all of this was handled they did have undoubtedly a lifter very substantial lift by the support from El Spencer Harry’s uncle and Lady Jane fellows his aunt and Spencer cousins in at at St Paul’s there’s no doubt about that and that will brought back uncomfortable memories for the royal family of course because of el Spencer’s famous oration ater’s funeral in 1997 but you can’t help feeling and this is the feeling I get that whereas we probably don’t know all of the picture and you’re talking about sources that a awful lot is happening both behind the scenes and also of course there’s been there have been the bits that we can see and only and can only speculate on but as for trusting the sussexes successful their trip May well be and we’ll find that out no doubt from a superficial point of view they’ll have attended certain functions which seem to have gone perfectly well and also they’re perhaps listening to PR advice when it comes to choosing Nigeria as they chose Jamaica before because public relations Is Something the susex have ignored in the likes of say Harry’s Memoir spare I mean it was so unwise it was positively scatterbrained admitting experimenting with drugs and also on television interviews promoting it also listing the number of people he’ of Taliban he taken out on his second to of Duty losing his virginity in a field the penile frostbite all of this showed a complete lack of any advice or if he got it he certainly was taking it we are not likely to hear from the royal family any views about this so-called tour and obviously the sussexes can do since they’re no longer senior working Royals exactly what they like what they wanted was a half in half out situation what unquestionably after the way they the rest of this weakest gone and the conflicting reports that have come out today regarding Harris and his father and his father being too busy to see him which we heard from Harry’s spokesperson and the Royal source is now disputing it uh I think there’ll be a great deal of concern the way that they built publicity up and then they’ve used it or some would say exploited it for their Nigerian trip uh so far as further trips are concerned it would depend where and also would depend on as with Jamaica there was sensitivity because Jamaica May well be heading to a republic and there’ll be has to be a referendum first but again that was curious that they chose that uh it will I think that it’s always unwise to underestimate the sussexes because you never quite know what’s coming next is something that the royal family found it I think very difficult to deal with because you had a whole series of there was the Oprah interview with Harry and Megan Netflix documentary and spare the Memoir the interviews and so on but there were also a very large number of interviews between that where they got news for what some reason or another sometimes to overshadow or so it appeared a royal event so I think there will be a lot of concern about the way they’ve actually handled this and I think that we’ll just have to see because they can do what they like there has been a report in the times today that Royal a royal Source has denied that um as previously stated by a spokesperson from Harry’s office that King Charles was too busy to see his son when he was over here for 3 Days linked to the commemoration of 10 years of Invictus at St Paul’s now if that’s the case uh it’s I think extremely significant because what we’ve got here two conflicting um views because it was a great surprise to most commentators that they didn’t meet indeed at one occasion they were just two miles apart it didn’t really make sense Royal Source if TR if to be trusted says that some Recollections may vary now that of course is a link to the fact that the the Sussex has invented a great deal uh during that interview which is Infamous and which was like firing a nuclear rocket at Buckingham Palace and on Oprah so this is quite extraordinary in fact it’s bizarre and one of the results of this and the fact that there are two conflicting public relations views we knew Harry when King Charles told him of his diagnosis cancer was here almost immediately and though he did stay in a hotel there’s a report that in fact a Royal Palace was apparently on offer and there’s a report that he turned it down we don’t know but the facts are that in February he did come and see his father they only spoke they only met for some half hour to 45 minutes depending on who you believe and it is also possible very possible that the fact he gave an Good Morning America interview afterwards uh was uh something the king didn’t like uh he didn’t reveal any of the conversation in the interview but he did discuss illness and how that could affect uh family disagreements and so forth or words to that effect the rift in the royal family will most certainly not be anything other than widened and also of course uh trust which is already eroded to a very substantial extent uh I mean I don’t think there will be much the only possibility of mending this Rift is if Harry would to come over privately and see his father privately and that we were not to know at least that seems to me to be the only possibility at the moment uh regarding Prince William I don’t think there’s any possibility

  11. If royals really understood the problem with the "plots" and the risk for oxygen
    deprivation and consequently capacity for heart attack, royals would likely ban
    Markle and Hary from ever returning to the monarchy again as long as they
    live. Doctors are very capable of revealing their knowledge of the risk for
    people subjected to the "plots" and royals need to be strongly alert to it
    (as should all people.) The British Government has stepped in to assist
    royals with the banning of Markle from ever returning to the monarchy
    again as long as she lives. (The lawyers there have been enormously
    helpful to the monarchy over the years. Hopefully, they will protect
    royals from the illness of Harry, as well, in time.)

They need to be careful about courting so much notoriety as they may become targets due to their indiscretion and complete lack of control.
