What country will have to invade the country formally known as the USA once Trump establishes the next reich? I’m done hoping that he won’t get in. I’m done believing there is enough of a brain trust out there that can combat the extreme right wing. I am done believing that those that support the GOP and its leaders, will ever come to understand why this is dangerous or bad for the people. There will be a majority that will find themselves under the thumb of the new regime, but the regime will blame underground liberals and democrats much like the red scare. Women, LGBTQ, secular or just not Christian believers, and liberal thinking people will become non-citizens based on the rhetoric and plans laid out by the far right.

well at almost any point, years ago, they could have charged the guy for any number of crimes and had the trials be over by now..What is ‘poisoning the blood’ of our country a separate set of rules for the wealthy and powerful, than the one everyone else has to operate under.
Certainly not the overpriced rents, overpriced food, overpriced medical care, overpriced education. Certainly not the fact that the center-right establishment is incapable of solving decades old problems. Certainly not blatant corruption by both parties.

Based on shaken ideologies in-line with the dogma of nazis, borne out of America’s want to pull scientists back from Nazi Germany after WWII, and the increasingly frightening evangelical movement, that so loosely interprets the Bible, that it might as well be a short-story novella – it misses the core concept entirely.

For the most part, poll after poll shows Americans as a people are fine. Unfortunately geography is more important in every branch of government (Senate, Executive through the Electoral College, House through gerrymandering and the fact it hasn’t been expanded in line with population growth, the Judiciary through the lopsided Senate and Executive.)
If we had a strictly majoritarian system with a Bill of Rights for individual liberties we would be fine.
I know, blah blah rural voters would have less power. Which is a good thing, because they are less people. We don’t weight ethnic, religious, or sexual minority voters more to protect their rights. That is what a Bill of Rights is for. This is a nonsense argument.
