  1. As I said in my OP:

    >As an Irishman I’ll be sad to see Caoimhín go, but I’d also be more than happy to see him playing consistent top flight football like he can/deserves.

    >He’s been excellent when called upon and when he was thrown in the deep end and became an unexpected starter, so I hope he gets what he’s looking for, as hard as it will be to find a replacement of his quality!

  2. He probably is too good to be a backup/cup keeper but also Arsenal and City have such excellent second string keepers that’s the standard we have to keep in mind, we can’t afford 5-10 games of Adrian a season.

Also Alisson is also far infallible injury wise, so I would always prefer to keep Kelleher around, however the lad has to think of his own career at some point. He can easily be a premier league No.1.

  3. If Brighton didn’t have Verbruggen and Steele he would’ve been perfect lol

  4. I think he’ll be difficult to keep next season, he does deserve to be starting. Though any clubs interested better be paying up. £35-40m would be fair in this current market.

Though it’s a concern for us if he does leave, we would need a keeper coming in as backup that’s almost as good as Kelleher anyway. Alisson’s one of the best keepers around, but he’s guaranteed to miss games each season, you need a really solid backup. We’ve been living a luxury with Kelleher.
