Too risky for Gasperini system player.
After this season I don’t see how we can get him for let’s say less than 50 mln. Atalanta’s players are overpriced by default and he had an amazing season. We can debate if betting all that money on him is the right call but that’s the price and if not us someone else is willing to pay it for sure
To be clear, I’d rather spend all that money or even more on two midfielders
This is the same stupidity that landed us in the problems we have now. Spend all your resources on 1 player and sacrifice the rest of the team.
If we sell Soule to finance this than might as well sell Chiesa bc who would play in the wing position opposite him?
