it was really unclear to me whether he was going to come out and do the podium or do it inside the the podium guy as we call him came out and the speakers came out I was like wow he’s coming out and there’s a little break in the rain and he comes out and then it just starts chucking it down and the Optics of a prime minister calling a summer election on the basis that there will be a brighter future with the conservatives as he is literally dren with storm clouds gray weather drenched in Rain he has to work hard because he’s so small and petite to not look like a work experienced kid anyway at an oversized Lector but being absolutely drenched looks awful but the boiler plate speech that also talks about how he’s got a plan and the other guy hasn’t okay if your plan is so great why are you planning to be outside in a thunderstorm when your other man who apparently got no plan has got like a lovely presidential Podium and he’s inside and he’s quite dry

  3. As Steve Bray was blasting out things can only get better, the optics for Labour couldn't be better. Whoever suggested this over using the indoor press briefing room must be secretly working for Labour.

  5. "optics", stop it, is this another Americanism? Stop it just stop it! The sight of, the neck of him, the state of him, look at that, the sight for sore eyes, just no more "optics".
