Pep (2011) “Now that we win, the model is accepted by many. It is not questioned. But we won’t always win. Then the doubts will come. This will be the moment when you will have to trust the model more than ever, because the temptation to deviate from it will be very strong”

  1. We haven’t learned anything here clearly and never will. Xavi was giving trophies and steady progress we threw it away. And we will do same with Flick no doubt.

  2. Can’t be a prophet in your own land.

Imagine having a competent board instead of the Catalan Cartel Carousel.

Pep and Messi for 15 years.

  3. These are very wise and true words. In the pursuit of winning, we cannot lose our way. And I’m not talking about tiki-taka. Pep himself disliked that term. The team should commit to playing attractive football. Physicality is important. But it should not be overemphasized to the detriment of skill and flair. Football is ultimately a game that is won by intelligence and talent.

  4. if only he didn’t leave a year later. Why did he even leave in the first place? Why hasn’t he returned yet?

  5. There is going to be an initial boost in morality and confidence when a new coach comes but our issues are solved, it was never a Xavi problem, our team played to best of its capabilities.. when ur 5th choice midfielder is starting quarter final you know how poor our depth is, without a winger and dm our team is going to struggle
