here’s what you need to do to vote in the general election on the 4th of July if you’re a student watch till the end to find out how to vote at Uni or at home first get registered it only takes 5 minutes on the government website you’ll only need to do this if you’ve moved house or changed your name or nationality since you last registered not sure if you’re already registered well this Government website can help the deadline for registration is 1 minute to midnight on the 18th of June if you’re a student you can register at home and at Uni but you can only vote once and don’t forget on Election Day itself you’ll need to bring photo ID like a passport or a driving license doesn’t need to be in date but it does need to look like you
