a mixture of indignation and outrage I would say you know stemming from what Benyamin Netanyahu said about the original uh charge brought by South Africa to the icj uh calling that false and outrageous and he sees this latest uh move by the icj in pretty much the same vein there are many to who who regard uh who casting aspersions I should say on the priding judge uh who com comes from Lebanon uh and others are saying well look you know it doesn’t really apply to us in any case because this this this uh ruling by the by the icj court uh applies in the in the eventuality in the case if there’s a threat to the destruction partial or otherwise of the uh population the Palestinian population of Rafa and given that there is no threat the Israel is saying of either partial or otherwise extermination of the population of Rafa this clearly doesn’t apply to them many would dispute that but the Israelis are saying in their defense here that they’ve evacuated the vast majority of the population of Rafa somewhere close on a million people so that although there’s heavy fighting going on in the eastern part of Rafa Central Rafa is now pretty much a ghost City only in Western Rafa where people have Evac in part at least evacuated to is the still crowded and Israel saying that is doing this in compliance with the demands made on it by the International Community by the icj and of course by the United States but as for their intentions going forward no doubt about it from Netanyahu to Benny Gans who’s in the the war cabinet everybody is saying the same thing we will carry on with this operation in Rafa regardless and Rob they have been carrying on today with air strikes in Rafa what more do we know about the situation there they have indeed you know within hours of the ruling by the icj court uh the Israeli Defense Forces were bombing Rafa from the air hitting houses hitting roads hitting infrastructure uh there was fighting continuously in the Eastern parts of Rafa Israeli tanks apparently approaching close to the center of the city and as I said a moment or two ago the bulk of the population close on a million have fled either to the west of Rafa or to the camps that have been set up uh along the coast and and in Kan yunus by the Israelis meantime uh the the road crossing at Rafa into into Egypt is closed down Israel is pressing along that Philadelphia Corridor that runs along the border between Gaza and uh Egypt has got about halfway so the fight meeting is going on pretty much non-stop Israel has somewhere in the region of nine brigades in Gaza in total at the moment that’s the most for two months and there’s fighting going on in the north as well the jabalia refugee camp so at this stage there’s absolutely no indication from the Israeli side despite the pressure from the International Community in particular the court but also from the United States for them to curtail their operations

Israeli air strikes and artillery pounded Rafah on Saturday, despite the UN’s top court ordering an immediate halt to its military offensive in the southern Gazan city. A mixed sentiment of “indignation and outrage” prevails among Israeli government officials including PM Netayahu, FRANCE 24’s Rob Parsons said, reporting from Jerusalem.

    By the way, Netanyahu has commented. What about Mr. Sinwar? Or He also doesn't care about the arrest 😂😊😊…. Both parties doesn't respect ICJ…

  9. The ICC can issue Warrants based on the conduct of the Leadership of both sides, should it deem it appropriate. They have that authority.
    I do not believe they have the authority, nor should they get involved in trying to interfer inongoing Military operations.

  12. I am from Serbia, and the reaction to accusations of war crimes is the same as it was in my country. The biggest problem occurs when a nation sees itself as the only victim: “The whole world is against us!”
    In 90s, all media in Serbia were under state control and it was almost impossible to get information from foreign TV stations. We were totally isolated.
    People in Israel have a lot of media and can see the whole situation. But no, they only want to hear and know about their own suffering, they don’t care about the other side. It’s just like the majority in Serbia today, people are still in denail of war crimes and think that everything what was done is the way it should be

  14. Peace will come only when hostages are released and freedom when internal democracy is established in Gaza and West bank. Nationhood requires working with discipline and diligence and cooperation with neighbors.

  16. Foreign judges trying to run Israel's war. Absurd. Israel is trying to rescue its hostages and you are telling them not to do it. That's outrageous..

    Not one word about ending the rockets being fired into Isreal by hamas hezbollia and houtis

    Arab countries and Palestine supported Russia and Putin. Recently, the Emirates and Saudi Arabia received President Putin with honor.

  23. There is no "Law" in geopolitics. Law without enforcement is no law. The Western press might as well stop deluding its listeners – there is no "rule-based-order." Israel does what it does because it can, being protected and supplied by powerful patron nations like America and Germany. Russia does what it does, because it helped by China, Iran and North Korea; And China will in time, attack Taiwan, when it determines (or deludes itself which humans are want to do) the potential consequences are tolerable.

  30. If Israel was what they say provoking them would only put palistiniens at risk. This idea Israel will stop is based on their own morality. You can't have it both ways.
