Expell them from the league. They can go improve their worldwide image (lol) sportwashing elsewhere.
I mean, this is just absolute nonsense. Seeking arbitration on rule around an AP law amendment has nothing to do with the EFL. Even if City are successful, the AP law will simply be restructured so it is lawful.
Whoever the times source is really just using City as a scapegoat for not helping the EFL.
“We might need the money to keep pace with city” I mean its almost laughable.
RIP
Man City est 2008-2024
City is ready to burn the whole place down to get their way. I’m American but it seems to me City is about to take on the entire pyramid just so they can spend as much as they want. I don’t think this will end well for City even if they were to win this case.

We will win this and then I’ll laugh as you all cry and whine for years about this
There’s no Man City, that’s long gone. What’s left is a disgrace
What did Man City do now?
It’s going to take the kind of fan outrage/protesting we saw when the Super League was announced to get any significant action taken, I have zero faith the Premier League are going to punish them adequately, especially with the UK Government getting involved and meeting with the owners and discussing the charges.
So Man City are saying ‘we don’t want sponsor ship deals that are a fair price, we want to get sponsored for any amount’. They’ve basically been doing that anyway. They managed to get sponsorship deals better than Real Madrids despite being an eighth of the size. Everyone knows that didn’t add up
Has there been an reasonably serious estimate of the amount City are alleged to have increased their revenue by? Genuine question, I don’t recall seeing a figure.
