If they drop the charges the league is done, you’re allowed to cheat all you like and it’s a joke.
The reason the Premier league have not done anything becomes clear.
Just need to make it to July 5th and Don Starmer, Arsenal Season Ticket Holder, will save football
(I have sustained a recent and extreme head injury)
>The government has refused to disclose information … on the grounds it could damage the UK’s relationship with the United Arab Emirates
If there was ever any doubt about why it might not be a good idea that nation states can own football clubs, here you go.
That’s ‘everyone else in football’, not their ‘rivals’
England then – cold blooded slaver and power monger. Rivalling the legend of roman empire in conquerring world.
England now – please dont break up with me. You can have as many football clubs you want.
This is EXACTLY why the oil clubs get so much hate from football fans.
They always have their apologists running around in threads making these false equivalencies about other countries and human rights abuses.
Nobody in the American government gives a good god fuck about the Glazers, Boehly, FSG or Shad Khan. Joe Biden (or god forbid, Donald Trump if he wins the next election) is not lifting a finger to save Manchester United from a 12th place finish next year, he doesn’t care, the guy is a fucking President, he has bigger things to worry about than whether or not Manchester United can win the Carabao Cup next year. The Glazers to him are just a bunch of rich guys who own sports teams.
PSG and Manchester City can and probably have exerted diplomatic pressure just to make winning football matches easier. That completely warps the idea of competition.
Yet I was to believe it was the super league that would kill football
They aren’t going to get sanctioned
It’s pretty obvious
If they do
Some other league would Try take them
And there would be a bigger push for the super league again
Real,City, barca, juve, probably some said teams and some other teams
And others would Cave in
That’s the reality
The prem isn’t going to send them put of the league, and packing 6 divisions below
no we dont , drop these made up charges , premier league = cartel
Huge, seminal moment for the Premier League over the next 6 months. If City are found not guilty of the charges/and or they’re successful in suing, the league is absolutely fucked and everyone knows it is.
Awful that we’ve even gone down this path, and we’re here in the first place. I suppose that’s what you get when you allow backwards, depostic states to meddle in the affairs of a league situated in an established Western democracy.
I feared the corrupt six would get away with showing their spoiltness and they did sooo
Of course, they’ll get away with it.
it’s because Rishi Sunak and his government keeps protecting them for their foreign relationship with UAE. Would simply be bad for business that’s also why it’s taking so long.
“They also say ‘the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in London have discussed the charges levelled at Manchester City by the Premier League’.
However, they are refusing to disclose the correspondence because it could risk the UK’s relationship with the United Arab Emirates.” (gbnews.com)
