  1. Keep repeating that lie Laporta. That is what you do best.

  2. What I don’t get about all this is… we ended LaLiga pretty well?? Like any other club would surely be happy with our result

  3. players disappointed xavi whole season and he kept giving chances to all and this fat fuck has audacity to say xavi is the one who was underconfident of team

  4. Lol, sure, sure he didn’t. He didn’t have faith in players you brought to make your friends happy who had pretty mediocre seasons and were quite poor in big games. Not to mention him asking for a DM and instead getting Tigrinho, which is something he clearly didn’t want at this time, another attacker. Lol. I love what Laporta did considering the situation we were in, but he is now just talking shit. The team really let him down this season, especially some of the bigger names. Still, he never once threw any player under the bus, and took all the shit from the media himself, even deflecting our shit performances with stupid and ridiculous comments.

I’m glad Laporta stabilized the club compared to where we were, but seeing him talk like he did about Messi, and now Xavi, who won us our first league in years and also forgave the club the wages he was owed next season, it just doesn’t feel right. The shitty thing is we don’t have anyone better to run the club, and we are stuck with someone who does a good job but also loves to take care of his friends and throw club legends under the bus.

  5. What a clown. Sorry to the moderator team but how in gods name can one not curse this idiot.

Just summarize it again, took the team half season from 9th to 2nd, won the league next season, and on his last season he lost due to individual player errors. Yes he did have a flaw in substituting, but so did everyone past Lucho.

With the team that he had, no coach could’ve done better.

We’d have a lot more respect for him if he just blatantly said that he had to do what he thought would be best for the team, and that it hurt letting Xavi go, but no, the idiot chooses to double down.

No way is Flick safe if he does not deliver something in the first season. And his spell is going to be a lot tougher than it was for Xavi.

    Absolute clown of a president.

  6. You arse the reason barca is sht and also xavi is the reason we got a thropy

  7. All you fans calling Laporta a lier, I just ask you give him the same grace you afforded Xavi. Laporta wasn’t a player but he’s a legendary president in his own right. He laid the foundations for the most successful period in club history and is now rebuilding the club again(successfully if I may add, circa the new Nike deal among others)

If Laporta felt aggrieved by what Xavi said, let it be. You can’t constantly rubbish what he says like he’s crazy. Laporta gave Xavi as much support as la Liga allowed him and Xavi still came out and implied he doesn’t have enough to compete with Madrid.

If I was a parent and gave my kids all I could within my means and they still came out sounding ungrateful, I’d definitely be hurt. Just consider this analogy all you Laporta haters.

  8. This president is a scum.

He could keep silent about Xavi, or say something like “he is always our legend but we need a change…”. No freaking reason to trash talk Xavi even after he’s gone.

  9. Whether you think Xavi deserved to go or stay this is some pathetic cope from Laporta. If managers are going to get fired over harmless and realistic comments to the press then no one will give a real answer again.

  10. So as the full quote goes, Laporta basically said that when Xavi announced he was going to stay, he was “enthusiastic” about the squad and next season. So when that quote from Xavi came out, he was essentially changing his mind and saying they couldn’t compete against Real Madrid, essentially Xavi was saying he was losing faith in the squad. He also said Xavi started asking Deco for players (probably Bernardo Silva and others that would cost a lot of money). Xavi just didn’t really sound like he believed in the players he had. That’s why Flick is here. Flick wants to work with the players we have and get the best of them. The only signing he wants is a DM. That’s it. But other that, Flick wants to work the players and use La Masia at its full disposal.

  11. Xavi is gone hopefully, no need to keep repeating this same topic for god sake

  12. Laporta, please stop taking homie. you’re making it worse

  13. Even Laporta is capable of more creativity than that pathetic lie.

  14. I’m sure Xavi had faith in his squad but it all depends on expectations. If this toad expects his coach to win LL or the CL then obviously anyone with 2 braincells would respond he doesn’t have faith that that is feasible with this current squad.

If the goals are realistic like 1) do well in Europe, QF at least. 2) compete in LL get at least second spot. 3) win a secondary trophy like Copa or supercopa. 4) develop this young squad to the point where they will be able to get back to becoming one of the strongest squads in Europe. Then yeah sure, Xavi would have faith in his squad and the project.

  15. Xavi gave everything for this team including his salary and Laporta comes out with this bs. I hope Xavi knows the love and support from the fans for his work in the middle of this media propaganda from Laporta.
