  1. If you asked every neutral in the Country you can only take 1 out of Brainthwaite, Quansah and Dunk, out of the millions of answers, Southgate would literally be the only one who said Dunk! Absolutely baffling decision.

  4. Surprised at the Maguire one, must be a really bad injury as normally Southgate would rather sell his family into the black market than leave his mate Maguire out of the squad

  10. I’m surprised he’s letting Maguire, Branthwaite, and Quansah go if that’s true. Given that stones injury record would have made sense to be at least one of the youngsters if Maguires not fit.

  11. Even as an LFC supporter I’m not shocked or upset. Jordan Henderson had a better chance of getting re-invited than seeing Curtis in midfield

  12. The defence is absolutely shocking. Dunk, Stones, Gomez, Konsa and Guehi makes no sense, when you have Branthwaite, Colwill, Tomori etc available. No left footer either.

    Also no cover for LB (Trippier is dreadful). If you took Branthwaite or Colwill you’d have some natural cover there.
