I don’t know where this rhetoric came that Laporta is doing a good job with the financials. He was too shortsighted with the levers, spending recklessly making it practically impossible for the club to spend normally again without the use of other levers. This in turn will make returning to 1-1 an issue for the following seasons as well.
It pains me to say this but we have to sacrifice one of Raphinha or FDJ for this.
Since flick seems to want FDJ according to reports, I think Raphinha will be sold off to Saudi (if he decides to go ofc).
