Is Perin going to accept a second GK role though?
anyone at Juve with a high salary is going to have a target on their back but it seems like the right time with Szczesny – a couple of blunders but overall excellent
Might be unpopular opinion but I would prefer a transition period as it was with Tek and Gigi.
Goalies wise we were always super spoiled.
All will be well if de Georgio delivers, but even if he does it’s very unlikely he will be an upgrade over Tek.
Right now De Georgio was good at Monza but playing at the level Juve expects is another thing.
Tek on the other hand still can have great 3-4 seasons, being in world’s top 5.
But I can’t blame management, as this solution would be a luxury and we need to cut costs.
It seems to me that this was the plan all along. Tek goes and makes some money in Saudi, we get rid of a big contract and sign a suitable replacement. Perin continues as #2. Giuntoli cooking.
Business wise it i dont mind it at all. Tek has a huge contract and if the news outlets are correct that Juve will make some money out of him, im all for it. However, i would try Perin as first goalie for a year, when we bought Perin he was pretty much what Di Gregorio is today, one of the best prospects in Serie A…
If I’m Perin I leave if a 25 year old just walks into the 11
I will only say thanks to Tek, he has been simply simply an amazing gk for us. Hopefully Digregorio can continue the legacy of great goalkeepers at Juve 🙂
I heard that Perin would leave since he does not want to be a 2nd keeper no more.
