2. I just read that 2008(!) born Milan talent Camarda signs a new deal. Then I realised that I’m twice that guy’s age this year and now I need to lie down.

4. Apparently Mazraoui has turned down the national team for two upcoming games in the World Cup qualifiers. Instead he’ll go on a pilgrimage to Mecca. It’s todays game against Zambia and a game on Tuesday against Congo. Can’t find a good link/tweet in English.

   Good for him, I guess, plus now he won’t get hurt playing for the national team. Yay.

Only three goalkeepers have been nominated: Manuel Neuer (#1), Marc-André ter Stegen (#22) and Oliver Baumann (#12). Nübel has no shirt number for the game. Should Nagelsmann end up deciding to take 4 goalkeepers to the tournament, Robin Koch, Maximilian Beier and Chris Führich are the players in danger of being dropped [@BILD]

6. Inside_ffm is officially a fraud now. Good to see that Bayern trusts Tel to be a backup, due to the rumors I thought the Board/Eberl didn’t believe he was ready yet.

   With that out of the way Simons + DM + another midfielder while getting rid of the overpaid underperformers is all that’s needed.

8. What are your bold Euro predictions? Mine are that Portugal win the Euros, Spain lose on pens, Saliba/Upamecano makes a howler of a mistake in defence to cost France and at least two pitch invaders across the whole tournament. EDIT: -3? Okay ig?

10. I really expected Koch to be dropped today as he is 5th choice CB and I just can’t think of a single scenario where having Koch in the squad is better than having Hummels.

    Realistically the 5th choice CB won’t get any minutes – but if I was Nagelsmann and I’m in a situation where I’m leading a Euros final 1-0 and think about bringing an additional CB in for the last 10 mins, I’d always take Hummels over Koch because of the experience. There is simply no situation where I would have Koch playing over Hummels.
