  1. Some comments by Eberl yesterday, that got a bit lost while Germany was playing:

    >Max Eberl on the criteria for a Bayern coach: “The playing style is not the most crucial thing. Today there are no longer coaches who only play with the ball, and others off the ball. I think we’ve seen that with Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp, whose playing styles were totally different and now got more similar. Every coach whom we consider at FC Bayern should also do that, he has to find solutions off the ball, but especially with the ball” [[SZ](https://x.com/SZ) via [@SkySportDE](https://x.com/SkySportDE)]

    >Max Eberl: “Bayern has worked with this squad for a very, very long time. Now we don’t want to revolutionize, but rather evolve. We want to get something going again over the next years. We definitely want to change things and we were able to initiate that very well in the background during the search for a coach. We want to create a new competitive, attractive situation. We want to integrate young players from our academy to be the faces of the club in the future. We found the right coach for that, a coach who brings desire, energy and power. I’m just glad that we have found a very, very exciting, very, very interesting coach. A great person who knows how big dressing rooms work” [[SZ](https://x.com/SZ) via [@SkySportDE](https://x.com/SkySportDE)]

  2. I love how Nagelsmann handled the media yesterday when they asked questions about the GK position for the euros. I know the mistake Neuer made yesterday led to a goal but the guy also made some crucial saves and it’s not that with Ter Stegen, Germany doesn’t concede or he doesn’t make mistakes.
