Ukraine SMOKES Russia’s Most Advanced “Stealth” Fighter!

did Ukrainian forces just smoke one of Russia’s top-of-the-line stealth aircraft Russia only has 10 of them or nine now I guess I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s talk about it okay so this is kind of the overall story here Ukraine is reporting that it’s Struck One of Russia’s most advanced war planes the Su 57 it says fighter it’s actually a multi-roll uh but it’s a twin engine stealth fighter lauded as one of moscow’s most advanced aircraft now Ukraine is saying they hit it with a long range drone covering some 589 miles uh from the front line but um there are rumors that this was done actually with us weapons but we also know uh Ukrainian homemade weapons are are also capable of reaching this far into Russia um but again us guidance it’s a little different every time sometimes they say it’s only for defending uh harke sometimes it’s only for defending the Border uh sometimes it’s it’s only can’t be used to strike uh Moscow or the Kremlin it’s it the guidance is strange so I’m inclined to believe this was a Ukrainian made drone uh targeting this aircraft um the Russians purportedly uh have what the US calls quote more than 10 so 11 or 12 is usually what that means um and Russia hopes to produce 76 of these Advanced aircraft by 2028 uh good luck under these sanctions guys I don’t know if that’s going to happen um now what’s interesting when you look at a SEO 57 you can see that it is has been actually in production for almost 14 years but it’s been a serious iteration right it first flew in 2010 and then spent a decade in kind of development hell trying to work out all the the bugs Kinks and Engineering flaws uh with finally it entering service in 2020 um there’s believed to be uh this says there’s 32 built 10 test p uh fra airf frames and 22 uh combat airf frames so what’s interesting though is that this has is a twin engine multiroll Fighter um it has all the things that sort of our signature to fifth generation Fighters um it has stealth technology what’s called super maneuverability the ability to conduct aerial maneuvers um with like powered maneuvering so more than just purely aerodynamic techniques it also has super Cruise uh the ability to cruise at above Mach 1 without afterburners uh as well as integrated avionics heightened payload capacity uh it’s basically the most advanced Russian aircraft C and it finally again having finally entered service in 2020 uh within 2 years right it was um at least available for use in the Ukraine conflict but what’s interesting at least to me um is that there’s not a ton of evidence that this is actually flying in Ukraine which is kind of interesting to me um and in fact when we look up Su 57 in Ukraine um I don’t see a ton of stories um just there’s not a lot of evidence that it’s actually been flying and it kind of makes sense right because ultimately the Su 57 is a strategic deterrent um it exists to fight uh primarily I mean it’s multi-roll but it exists to kind of check NATO aircraft who remember a lot of NATO countries operate the F35 um and Russia really doesn’t want to lose its F35 equivalent uh to you know Ukrainian air defenses or just aircraft accidents right so it doesn’t appear to have been used in in any combat operations but I did want to we’re going to take a look at the actual satellite photos of the destruction and see how Russia is trying not that here is the before photos right and here is the after photos now Ukraine you can see the airframe itself uh looks like it was possibly damaged but not destroyed you can see what Ukraine is saying is some of the Scorch marks emblematic of a um drone strike but you notice it’s got these sort of uh weaves here in the satellite photos and what are they well I what they appear to be is an anti- drone or protection you can see here this is a example of it in which what looks like steel cables and then netting sit over top the aircraft and so to prevent this right uh to prevent a drone strike or to circumvent this this drone netting it looks like the drones had to come in at maybe a lower angle and attempt to get into the aircraft itself um now the nice the good thing or the thing for ukrainians uh that’s helpful is that stealth aircraft are really really really precise airf frames right they have the stealth coating they uh in order to cruise at those kind of speeds you need a really really well-maintained airframe and so even small damage right even damage that you may not be able to see uh can still really thwart or or really screw with the the flight characteristics of the aircraft right and so while this isn’t like lighting it on fire uh it may require potentially very extensive um repairs right and again it’s hard to know from these two photos if there was uh like visible damage to the aircraft again this is a much lower resolution photo than this one but even getting close underneath this drone and can still really do some damage to these kind of advanced Fighters   4. This plane is a good demonstration of where Russia's military actually is. 22 planes built since 2010. The Russian military is built only on old USSR stock.

  12. Paul the Russians just have posted another video how they destroyed yet another American M1Abrams (MBT), all dressed up in old Soviet Kontakt-I dynamic protection (🤣). In the area of ​​the village Sokol, outside Ocheretino, artillerymen of the 2nd Army of the “Center” group tracked down and struck the M1Abrams.   16. Are all those problems with this F-35 (JSF) already solved? That "fighter jet" cannot even fly at supersonic speed, because then the "Stealth-paint" starts bubbling and peeling. Thus the F-35 loses its stealth abilities, just another piece of junk, just a whitewash-operation to steal more money from the ignorant American taxpayers…

Russian troops crossed the border and drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Ryzhevka, in the Sumy region.As evidence, Russian units filmed footage of mortar, artillery, drone and tank attacks on the enemy. Also at the end of the video a sign of the Ryzhev Library is shown…evidence Paul….evidence…

  24. They've got MAYBE a couple dozen SU57's, and unless they partner with someone that'll provide the microchips, they're not building more at any significant rate or capacity.

    The US is talking about scrounging up the remaining 100+ F22's they have to give them a round of upgrades to prolong their already unchallenged and lengthy service.

    The NGAD is flying prototypes and starting to gather together resources for mass production – should be ready in around 5 years.

    BUT…..according to the internet we should all cower before Russia's mighty 2 dozen SU57's

  27. The conflict in Ukraine gave the development of tanks in China an enormous boost:

    1. The new generation Chinese tanks will not be equipped with thick armor and large-caliber weapons.

    2. Modern Chinese tanks will have capabilities that allow them to fight at long distances and serve as control centers for unmanned systems.

    3. Chinese tank armament will focus on infantry support rather than tank versus tank warfare.

    4. Chinese tanks will be equipped with an active protection system against drones and missiles.

    5. The conflict in Ukraine showed the Chinese how outdated and obsolete tanks are on the battlefield.

    6. These modern day warfare ultra-light Chinese tanks will have the ability to launch and land unmanned aerial vehicles and a smaller fighting compartment combined with an uninhabited turret.

  29. I wouldn’t risk my top aircraft over Ukraine either when less-expensive and more available aircraft are handling the situation adequately in Ukraine. It appears that the air-superiority manned fighter factor isn’t as decisive due to the effectiveness and lower cost of UAVs and standoff weapons like the glide bomb and cruise missiles. This hasn’t been a pitched battle between “Top Gun” pilots flying the most modern aircraft like in the Battle of Britain, Midway, Guadalcanal, and over Rabaul and Truk. It’s more of a battle of drones and missile systems of various autonomy in an environment of continuous surveillance, electromagnetic jamming, and hypersonic propulsion systems that outmatch air-defense capabilities.

    Ukraine is not producing significant damage against Russian military forces with strikes like this. They are only increasing the possibility of being vaporized under a superheated mushroom cloud and taking NATO with them.

    This administration is the epitome of amateur hour. No diplomacy, just mindless and suicidal escalation against a military that is already on a war footing and hardened in ACTUAL COMBAT with modern weaponry in tough conditions. The US military is the weakest it has been since before WWII, can’t recruit, poorly-conditioned, and believes it is a top-tier fighting force because it fought under-supplied goat herders for twenty years with the benefit of full air superiority and still ran away with its tail between its legs. Russia would stomp our heads and mop the floor with our current military. Yet we continue to talk shit and keep poking the bear like an annoying child. This will not end well… for anybody.
