I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the 838 day of the war.

Day 838: Jun 10

Today, there are a lot of updates from the Kharkiv direction.

Here, after Ukrainians had seized the initiative in all directions in the region, Russians decided to respond by resorting to their dominant tactic of sending waves of infantry groups, using significant amounts of their reserves in a desperate attempt to preserve the initiative. However, Ukrainians unleashed all available weapons, including HIMARS rockets that were just waiting for the green light from Western partners, particularly the United States.

Since the full-scale war began in February 2022, the American administration has prohibited Ukrainians from striking Russian territory with Western-made weapons. Consequently, Ukrainians had to watch as Russians prepared for another offensive against Kharkiv without being able to preemptively target enemy forces. This culminated in another Russian attempt to seize Kharkiv last month. In response, Ukrainians intensified diplomatic efforts to gain permission to strike key bases, equipment, ammunition depots, and anti-aircraft systems in Russia’s Belgorod region. Finally, President Joe Biden granted this request, albeit limited to the area near Kharkiv.

Ukrainians had already planned their next actions and were awaiting permission to start their wave of strikes. In order to open the air space for the usage of HIMARS and other weapons, their first targets became Russian radars and air defense systems. Within hours they were able to successfully locate and destroy one of the most modern enemy surveillance radars – Kasta 2E2. The geolocated footage from the Belgorod region shows how they are using one of their locally developed loitering munition systems – RAM 2. The first drone targets the truck carrying the antenna and the second successfully destroys the command post vehicle.

This was immediately followed by a massive launch of HIMARS rockets which can be seen in this video released by the Ukrainian forces. Being blinded by the destruction of powerful radars, the Russians reported that various elements of anti-aircraft systems S300 and S400 were hit. Soon the Russians shared images and videos that confirm the damage to these vital weapons, which they are using not only defensively for interception of air threats but also offensively for striking ground targets. If you want access to original uncensored combat footage showing the devastating aftermath of HIMARS strikes, you can find it on our Telegram channel using the link in the description.

Ukrainian soldiers fighting on the frontline reported that soon after those initial strikes, their armed forces began using fighter jets, helicopters, and artillery more intensely than before. A geolocated video from the Kharkiv region shows Ukrainian helicopters returning after performing combat tasks in the vicinity of Vovchansk. The next video shows the devastating work of Ukrainians jets against concentrations of enemy forces in the city. Once again, Ukrainians waited until Russians gather in a large local building and then targeted it with gliding bombs to eliminate them. It is important to know that this building was located very close to the Ukrainian positions in the high-rise building district of Vovchansk. The Russians were attempting to gather a large force for a storm operation against the Ukrainian stronghold north of the Vovcha River which has caused them problems for weeks now. Russian forces that survived the attack were quick to capture the aftermath of this devastating strike. The original uncensored videos of this operation can be found on our Telegram channel as well.

The magnitude of all these Ukrainian attacks prompted the Russian Ministry of Defense to claim that the Ukrainian command has transferred up to 12 M270 self-propelled multiple rocket launch systems in the Kharkiv region to support counter-offensive measures in this direction. 2. It is utterly unconscionable that the Biden administration prevented Ukraine from striking military targets within russia.

  3. It sounds like the tide is reversing nicely.. I feel like one more large aid package will be needed to finally defeat Russia, in 2025. We just need to keep Trump out of office.

  4. So 308 rockets at 500 thousand dollars each.. Very expensive raid.. I'm sure we taxpayers will be buying more before November.. You're welcome. But, the world's opinion of this war is changing.

  5. As of June 10, units of the Russian military entered the Sumy Region and took control of the village of Rijevka, which is located close to the border with the Russian region of Kursk. Rijevka became the first settlement on which the Russian side established permanent control in the Sumy region since April of 2022. At the same time, intense fighting is ongoing in the area of Volchansk in the Kharkiv Region. Kyiv’s forces carried out a series of attempts to attack Russian positions established there but suffered casualties and retreated. In return, the Russian military made tactical gains in the direction of the machinery manufacturing plant there. Attacks by Kyiv’s forces around the settlement of Glubokoe were also repelled.

Local clashes were also ongoing near the village of Zelenoe, where Russian forces reportedly captured some of nearby high points.

Positional fighting continues in the countryside of Avdeevka, near Donetsk city. In recent days, Russian units developed advances north and west of Umanskoe. Positional clashes in urban areas continue in Krasnogorovka.

The situation also remains tense around Bakhmut. Russian forces have been carrying out operations along the Seversky Donetsk-Donbass channel east of Chasov Yar.

Another point of clashes is the Soledar countryside where Russian troops advanced towards the village of Razdolovka, which remains in the hands of the Kyiv regime.

All these Russian tactical gains happened despite intense resistance by forces of the Kyiv regime. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conduct regular counterattacks in several directions. Additionally, to Volchansk, units of the Kyiv regime undertook attempts to carry out such operations in the countrysides around Bakhmut and Avdeevka.

On June 10, the Russian armed forces had taken full control of the Staromayorskoye settlement, located on the peak of the Veremeyevsky bulge in Donetsk region. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered significant losses in manpower, some armed groups retreated towards Makarovka settlement.
It should be recalled that during last year’s counteroffensive, the Ukrainian armed forces managed to occupy several villages in this direction: Vremevka, Blagodatnoye, Neskuchne, Makarovka, Staromayorskoye and Urozhaynoye. The fighting for Staromayorskoye lasted almost a year and during this time the village changed “from hand to hand” several times.

The liberation of Staromayorskoye in the Veremeyevsky direction is of great tactical importance for the Russian forces and will add dynamics to the front line. The heights near the village will allow Russian forces to move forward.

It is currently reported that Russian forces have improved their position in Urozhaynoye and have reached the center of the village. Clashes continue in the village.

Over the past couple of weeks, the Russian Air Force has carried out several effective strikes on transportation arteries of the Ukrainian armed forces – in particular, the bridges in Velikaya Novosyolka became targets.

  6. So basically, Ukraine wasted 300 HIMARS rockets without any visible benefit or counterattack…? Soon they will be complaining they need more ammo and have nothing to show for it…

  7. Yikes what a expensive day around $52 million cost per shot is supposed to be 168k on the low end these did look like the smaller missles not the big 1 & 2 shit per tube

  8. Why do you even bother to show those highly pixelated images ? Also, do you have any idea of what the total damage was from the 308 HIMARS ? I don't imagine those rockets come for a cheap price.

  9. To every complaining post: Ukraine is fighting against about 1-to-4 odds against what used to be the #2 military in the world. After years of fighting Russia has been downgraded severely but there is still a big gap to overcome. The fact that Ukraine still exists is nothing short of a miracle, and the west – all of the west! – needs to help them as long as it takes for whatever it costs. If we fail to stop Russia now it will only be much worse in a few short years. Remember Crimea? 2014? Not that long ago, people. Putin already claimed Poland is next. Wake up.

  10. The insane rule of NOT being allowed to shoot at targets over the russian border was a CRIMINAL ACT in itself. Ukraine should have NEVER been told NO. Anyone who said NO should be looking for a trial date at the Hague as their stupid reasoning caused untold damage and death on Ukrainian Civilians. Idiots.
