  1. Interesting take away that applies broadly: importing vegetables has a lower carbon impact than locally raised cattle.

    I’d argue that food waste has an even bigger impact than eating meat and is the #1 easiest thing we can do to help this situation.

  2. They also are run by beef factories and think monoculture grass farms are “nature”. 

  3. The only relation between food and climate change is when synthetic fertilizers, made using fossil methane, are part of the food chain. Avoid those foods by eating organic and you’re good.

  4. Most people have no idea how harmful the meat industry is — it goes beyond emissions: land use, deforestation, air pollution, water pollution, harm to biodiversity. Everything really.

  5. Over manufacturing and farming is killing the world…

    There are so many unsold Tesla vehicles now you can now see them from outer space, pollution…

  6. On the other hand, growing food requires cutting down forests for more agricultural land.
